Sentence to Service Visit

At this point in a long year of gardening, it’’s great to get help when you have a task as big as ours — creating a bird and pollinator habitat that is 6,000 square feet requires a lot of weeding, planting, watering, and mulching. So it was a great relief to have help today from people serving a sentence of community service. Nonprofits like Friends of Bird City Gardens qualified for their help. Thank you to Mike, Greg, and all the program helpers who were here today to mulch our pathways.
