The Mulberry Creek Bird Station is a 6,000-sq-ft lot on Stillwater’s North Hill that is being renovated from a weed-filled lot to a bird- and pollinator-friendly demonstration habitat. It will be open to public tours and teaching events in 2026.

Bird City Gardens

Bird City Gardens, created in 2024, is the nonprofit behind Mulberry Creek Bird Station. Imagine backyards with birds, monarch butterflies, and bees, attracted to native flowering plants, and how delightful that would be. We plan to make it simple by providing the know-how for gardeners to start. Students will also be attending classes in the habitat to learn about and enjoy the natural world.
